Brookfield Residential is planning another project in Calgary’s fast-growing University District, according to a recent report from the Calgary Herald.
Called Capella, the new development will feature a total of 142 residences, which will be broken down into one 92-unit apartment-style condo building and seven additional smaller buildings that will feature no more than eight units in each.
Capella apartment-style condos will offer one and two-bedroom floor plans that have between 550 and 1,000 square feet, while the units inside each of the smaller buildings will be slightly larger, feature between two and three bedrooms, and range in size from 1,300 to 2,000 square feet.
The Capella community will also include a fitness studio, a landscaped courtyard and cabana, and also a breezeway. In addition, the larger single-level residences will also have semi-private elevator access and attached private garages.
Developers are saying condos at Capella will start in the high $200,000s and jump up into the high $600,000s for some of the community’s larger units.
