Several new communities are headed to Calgary, with some of the latest on track to bring even more housing options to Calgary’s southeast and southwest quadrants this year. While several new communities have recently landed in North Calgary, the new developments mean even more possibilities for new buyers in other areas of the city, as well.
One of the newest master-planned communities in Calgary is Belmont, found just southeast of Silverado. With home designs from a select number of builders, possibilities include new townhomes priced from the $300,000s, as well as street towns and single-family homes with attached garages. Plans also call for a play park, and nearby city rec centre.
Yet another new community in Southwest Calgary is Yorkville. Eventually plans call for more than 3,000 homes within Yorkville, along with a large pond and nearby trails. Options here include single-family homes, urban townhomes and rear laned duplexes.
Meanwhile, additional options are planned for Southeast Calgary, as well. Condos, townhomes and single-family homes are all coming to Seton. In addition, the master-planned community of Belvedere calls for the eventual construction of more than 1,200 homes, including condos, townhomes and single-family homes.
As well, Crestmont View is slated for development, offering up views of the mountains and the river valley, while the new Wolf Willow development calls for around 3,500 homes, including condos, townhomes, duplexes and single-family homes.
Possible new options for prospective homebuyers additionally include Cornerbrook, with plans for around 1,500 homes and The Parks of Harvest Hills, featuring condos, townhomes and single-family homes.
