a la Saj Calgary RestaurantA La Saj is a fusion take on the Saj, also known as a "fresh homemade wrap." A La Saj offers a variety of more than 25 different sandwiches that blend international ingredients. The Calgary location can be found at 112B 8th Avenue (Stephen Avenue). The restaurant is closed on Mondays.    Menu items include The Swiss with melted raclette cheese topping Swiss sundried beef and petit pickles, and Falafel with homemade tahini sauce. Other favorites include The Canadian, which consists of maple-seared turkey breast with tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and homemade maple Dijon sauce. There are also dessert options such as Nutella, crunchy Nutella, Ricotta Cheese with Honey and more. à La Saj is the perfect way to add pizzazz to a traditional sandwich meal.

There is still time to enjoy Contemporary Calgary's Fall exhibitions. At the 117 8 Avenue SW location, the Homecoming exhibition will be on display. Homecoming is a solo exhibition which showcases the paintings of the artist, who grew up in beautiful Red Deer,  Alberta. The artist, Kim Dorland carefully selected work which captures the moments of his early adulthood experiences in Alberta.    At the Suite 104 - 800 Macleod Trail SE location, Contemporary Calgary invited Dorland to guest curate the Voted Most Likely exhibition. Heritage Park Historical Village, located at 1900 Heritage Dr. S.W. in Calgary, is Canada's largest living history museum. This is a must-visit for any history buff! The village gives visitors an idea of what life in Western Canada was like from 1864 through the 1950's. Calgary European Film FestivalCome visit the Calgary European Film Festival to view relevant movies from nine European countries. The festival will be held November 14-16 at The Globe. The festival will host screenings of films from Croatia, Republic of Moldova, Poland, France, Romania, Bulgaria, The Czech Republic, Germany and Switzerland.
